Mystery Snails are illegal in Georgia!

Size:

These guys range in size from the diameter of a blueberry up to just over the diameter of a ping pong ball; you pick the size range you want.

Bitty Snaby: Blueberry to Dime
Small: Dime to Quarter
Medium: Quarter to Ping Pong Ball
Large: Ping Pong Ball and up
B-Grade: Assorted Sizes with Lots of Growth Lines

Purple Mystery Snails have a purple, striped shell with a dark body. The dark body makes the shell appear darker than that of its light-bodied counterpart, the magenta. Their shells can range from very dark purple, to bright purple, to lavender (all striped with a dark foot, of course).

These guys make a fun addition to most freshwater tanks! They are selectively and lovingly bred and raised in our personal community tanks with other snails, shrimp, and fish.

Mystery Snails have very simple dietary and environmental needs, but meeting those needs is absolutely essential to the life and wellbeing of your snail.

Your snails(s) will be sent to you in an insulated box with a cold pack in the summer, or heat pack in the winter, whichever is appropriate.

This listing is for 1 live Mystery Snail (Pomacea Bridgesii), of your chosen size, that we SELECTIVELY BRED in our homes for good genetic traits. As such, these snails are of the HIGHEST QUALITY.
We are hobby breeders; we breed and raise all of our snabies in our own heavily planted community tanks with other snails and fish. We aren’t commercial breeders with large tubs full of snails and we don’t buy and resell other people’s snails.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Requesting a specific gender is no easy feat and requires significant time and skill on our part, so we charge an extra $5 per snail for that service.

We don’t do returns or exchanges. However, we do have a DOA guarantee. We guarantee that all of our snails, shrimp, and plants will arrive alive.

* * * In order to receive a DOA refund, we have to receive a picture within 2 hours of delivery (meaning when the package was dropped off at the provided address) showing the dead snail hanging limply out of its shell. The only other way to know your snail is dead, and not just in shipping shock, is to sniff it - which we (thankfully) can’t do from here. A short video showing you crushing the snail will also work.

* * * SITUATIONS THAT VOID THE DOA GUARANTEE * * *
1.) Choosing Ground Shipping at checkout. Ground Shipping takes longer to arrive, thus putting more stress on the snail. If you choose USPS Ground, the DOA is voided.
2.) Package is unsuccessfully delivered on the first attempt (we ship to the address provided by you at checkout, it’s your responsibility to ensure the address is correct). If the shipping company is unable to deliver on the first attempt, the DOA is voided.
3.) Not opening your package immediately upon delivery. Once shipped, a tracking number is provided, it’s your responsibility to open it as soon as the package is delivered. If the package is not opened within 2 hours of delivery, the DOA is voided.
4.) Package is lost due to package thief. (If this happens, please contact your local USPS/UPS/FedEx to file a claim)
5.) Not providing the above, required proof of death. If proof that the snail you received from us arrived dead is not provided, the DOA is voided.

*We evaluate on a case by case basis and will make every reasonable attempt to be fair.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed by 8:00 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) on Monday will be shipped that Tuesday. Orders placed after that will be shipped the following week.
Our shipping fee includes insulated packaging and a cold or hot pack as needed, depending on the season.

Mystery Snails ARE illegal in Georgia! Please do not order Mystery Snails if you are going to ship them to Georgia. If you do order Mystery Snails to be shipped to Georgia, we will have to cancel and refund those snails. If we ship Mystery Snails to Georgia, we could face a $500 fine.
Georgia is currently the only state in the continental US that has banned the import of Mystery Snails. If you are shipping them to anywhere else in the continental US, they are legal. However, you should check to see if your state has any regulations you must adhere to.
